I Promised Fuzzy Birthday Pics

And what would I be if I didn't follow through on that promise??

Not I, my friends, not I. I shall not leave you hanging, pining for fuzzy Chuck E Cheese.

I actually managed to capture more photos than I had thought. I was struggling with the camera, playing that game- you know-

CAM: *blink red, blink red, shut down*

ME: GrrrrRRR! *Turns camera on* *Snaps a pic she didn't even frame because the camera is about to...*

CAM: *blink red, blink red, shut DOWN!*

Here is 5 year old's Chuck E Cheese birthday, in all its glory. Or at the very least, what little bits of glory I managed to capture that weren't horrifically indecipherable:

What's a party without balloons?? I mean, really...

Funky colored lights. Do you really think Chuck E Cheese needs these?? I'm not sure, myself...

She was pondering the power of the Chuck.

Eating pizza... Or playing with it. NOM NOM NOM!

Our nephew (the birthday girl's brother) munching down...

Party people, get on down.

Dancing with the birthday singers... "You're a birthday star at Chuck E Cheese..."

Okay, I know this is really fuzzy... But he is still too damn cute. Look at those EYES!

Dada Ruggle, AKA Uncle Willie, tending to the chillens.

And one of the very last pics I got before it died for good... The birthday girl about to blow her candle out! Thank goodness it lasted for this very important moment :)

As I said, it was a blast... The kids had great fun, and none of the little ones seemed terrified of Chuck E, which is a plus. Once, we took my little brother there for his birthday... I don't know if he ever recovered. To this day, he still doesn't like masks or people dressed up as larger than life animals... Mom had to put some money in the therapy fund for that one ;)

Just saw how you won that competition over at Kia's and thought I'd say congrats!

I have three children and I haven't stepped into a Chuck E Cheese in five years. Seems things haven't changed! BR is a cute one though!

Hey Kia is ending us because WE WON!!!!!! Oh and she wants us to tell you hes great etc blah blah blah ;)

What a fun day out!! I am pretty sure I have never seen the chuck before, don't think we get him here (Scotland).

I am with your brother on this, as a kid I saw TOMMY(not Tammy) Seagull, from a holiday club. I saw HIM in the Girls toilet, and HE took of HIS head and HE was a (you should be sitting...) GIRL. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!

Back again real quick...didn't have an email to respond to the comment on the driving comment you left on my blog.

You made me laugh so hard. It's exactly me and my husband to a tee. It's just better if HE drives and I don't open my eyes until I get there.

LOL.

I love your sense of perspective. Do you know I have yet to take the babies to Chuck E Cheese? Seriously. What am I waiting for? That place was my favorite when I was small. I was the master of skeet ball, all those tickets leading to my two dollar prize. I cherish those memories.

I don't like people in masks or costumes, but it has nothing to do with Chuck E Cheese. Scary! I guess now I'm glad I've never been...

Uck... Check E. Cheese's still makes my skin crawl. I actually worked for CEC for 7 years! Nothing like managing a giant mouse and about 50 16 year olds! Is it weird that I still remember all the words to the "Birthday Star"
